TrackSyte Integrations: Equipment and Systems We Connect To
Neo 2 reads the equipment already fitted to your assets — batteries, solar, fuel cells, generator controllers, security systems and machines — and the TrackSyte® Portal shares that data with your own software. This page lists every integration that works today and how each one connects.
If your equipment has a CAN bus, RS485 / Modbus, Bluetooth, Ethernet or digital output, Neo 2 can usually read it. Ask us about anything not listed here.

All integrations at a glance
| Integration | What TrackSyte reads | How it connects |
|---|---|---|
| Victron Energy | Battery state of charge, solar yield, inverter and charger data | VE.Direct or Bluetooth, or a Cerbo GX over the network |
| Victron Smart Shunt | Shunt-based state of charge, voltage and current | Bluetooth or VE.Direct |
| EFOY fuel cells | Power output, cartridge level, status and faults | Ethernet or MQTT |
| Emmjen fuel cells | Fuel cell status and output | RS485 |
| Smart lithium batteries (BMS), including Fogstar and Topband | State of charge, cell voltages, temperature and protection events | Bluetooth |
| Generator controllers | Running hours, fuel, engine data, generator output and alarms | RS485 Modbus or CAN bus |
| Ajax security systems | Hub status, devices, alarms, battery and connection | Ajax integration |
| Engines and machines | J1939 engine hours, temperatures, fuel and fault codes | CAN bus (including J1939 and CAN FD) |
| Meters, PLCs and other controllers | Registers exposed by the device | RS485 / Modbus RTU |
| Alarm contacts and switches | On/off states, alarms and pulses | Digital inputs (GPIO) |
Power and energy
Most off-grid assets run on a mix of batteries, solar, fuel cells and generators. TrackSyte brings Victron systems, EFOY and Emmjen fuel cells, smart lithium batteries and generator controllers into the same portal, so you can see the whole power system on every asset, not one brand at a time.
Security systems
For CCTV towers and security compounds, TrackSyte shows Ajax hub health, devices and alarms next to the tower's power and location, so a hub going offline can be traced to a flat battery, lost signal or a real fault before anyone travels.
Industrial interfaces
Where there is no ready-made integration, Neo 2 reads equipment directly through standard industrial interfaces: CAN 2.0A/B, CAN FD and SAE J1939 for engines and plant, RS485 / Modbus RTU for controllers and meters, Ethernet, Bluetooth and digital inputs and outputs.
Your own systems: API, MQTT and alerts
Data does not have to stay in the TrackSyte Portal. Pull it into your own software through the TrackSyte REST API, stream it by special request from the TrackSyte MQTT broker with certificate-based access, export CSV reports, and send alerts by email, webhook or Slack.

FAQs
What equipment does TrackSyte integrate with?
Victron Energy systems and Smart Shunt, EFOY and Emmjen fuel cells, smart lithium batteries with a BMS including Fogstar and Topband, generator controllers, Ajax security systems, and any equipment that shares data over CAN bus, J1939, RS485 / Modbus or digital outputs.
My equipment is not listed. Can TrackSyte still read it?
Usually, yes. If it has a CAN bus, RS485 / Modbus, Bluetooth, Ethernet or digital output, Neo 2 can normally read it. Send us the make and model and we will confirm.
Can I get TrackSyte data into my own software?
Yes. Use the TrackSyte REST API, export CSV reports, receive alerts by webhook, or by special request connect to the TrackSyte MQTT broker with certificate-based access.
Does TrackSyte import data from manufacturer telematics such as JCB LiveLink, Cat VisionLink or Trackunit?
Not today. TrackSyte reads equipment directly through Neo 2 and runs alongside manufacturer portals, covering the mixed and off-grid equipment they do not.
