TrackSyte® acts as a common remote monitoring and telemetry layer for assets you connect into the portal. That does not mean TrackSyte replaces every OEM telematics system. It means you can bring supported equipment into one operational view when you need mixed-fleet visibility.

Through the TrackSyte® Portal, operators can review GPS/GNSS location, live status information where available, power-related telemetry where connected, alerts and historical context consistent with existing TrackSyte monitoring capabilities.

TrackSyte does not automatically have engine ECU data for every machine. What you see depends on how each asset is connected — for example via Hub, Neo, NEO 2, supported integrations or APIs.

Connect more equipment with NEO 2

For equipment that needs deeper field connectivity, NEO 2 extends the TrackSyte platform with interfaces such as CAN bus connectivity, Modbus connectivity and GPIO connectivity, together with cellular options including NB-IoT and LTE-M.

These interfaces are NEO 2 capabilities. They should not be read as universal claims for Hub, original Neo, or every TrackSyte device. Where a deployment needs those field interfaces or low-bandwidth cellular options, NEO 2 is the relevant hardware choice.

Many construction businesses need visibility across different equipment brands, older assets, hired plant, specialist kit and remote or off-grid deployments.

TrackSyte® is designed to complement OEM portals where they already exist, while helping operators monitor mixed fleets that do not share one common telematics system.

Remote monitoring before a site visit

When alerts, location, telemetry, power information or status signals are available in the portal, teams can review what is happening before dispatching someone to site.

Where NEO 2 is used to connect CAN bus, Modbus or GPIO-equipped assets, additional field telemetry may be available for those connected devices. TrackSyte does not claim predictive maintenance, automated fault diagnosis or machine health scoring unless separately verified for a specific deployment.

Integrate construction telemetry with your systems

TrackSyte® can form part of a wider telemetry and data workflow. Supported approaches include MQTT streaming and API access so construction telemetry can feed existing operational systems where appropriate.

  • Hub — site/router-oriented gateway connectivity, including documented RS485 on Hub where required.
  • Neo — ultra-low-power LTE Cat 1 bis connectivity for remote and mobile assets.
  • NEO 2 — deeper field interfaces including CAN bus, Modbus and GPIO connectivity, plus NB-IoT and LTE-M cellular options.

Choose hardware based on the asset and site constraints — do not assume every interface is available on every device.

Can TrackSyte monitor equipment from different manufacturers?
