Neo 2 reads controllers, batteries, generators and machines over CAN bus (CAN 2.0A/B, CAN FD and SAE J1939), RS485 / Modbus RTU, Bluetooth LE, Wi-Fi, Ethernet and digital inputs and outputs. Victron equipment connects over VE.Direct, and a built-in 6-axis IMU detects movement, tilt and impacts.

Multi-constellation GNSS (GPS, Galileo, GLONASS and BeiDou) gives an accurate position, with Wi-Fi positioning when there is no satellite fix. Data is sent over 4G LTE, LTE-M or NB-IoT on a SIM valid for five years, or over your existing Ethernet network, in real time or at the interval you choose, such as every 60 seconds or every 15 minutes.
